Vietbuild International Exhibition 2020 – A Gathering Place for “Green Living” Products

Following its success, Vietbuild International Exhibition 2020 brought significant benefits in terms of economic development, technology transfer, trade promotion, and construction investment cooperation for businesses. VIETBUILD 2020 was an ideal bridge for businesses, customers, partners, construction contractors, engineers, architects, and others seeking new solutions for construction and design projects, new products, and advanced scientific and technological products serving the construction industry and their housing projects.

The products displayed at VIETBUILD 2020 were meticulously and creatively designed, suited to user needs and oriented toward the application of new technologies in the construction industry. Construction materials and interior and exterior decoration products featured new designs, enhanced functionality and quality to meet the growing demand for housing, construction, and interior and exterior decoration, while being aligned with sustainable development, environmental protection, and improved quality of life.

LPC Participates in Vietbuild 2020

In addition to traditional products, Vietbuild 2020 featured young innovative businesses applying technology in production processes and researching new materials. Among them was Lam Pham Construction Company Limited – LPC.

At Vietbuild International Exhibition 2020, Lam Pham Construction presented new technology products with high applicability and strategic importance to the company: Ubot flat slabs and groups of new materials with high durability and environmentally friendly properties.

Ubot Flat Slab – Green Technology Solution

UBOT is a formwork system made from recycled Polypropylene used in slab and raft foundation structures. Ubot flat slabs have a special structure consisting of four support legs and one central conical leg, together with connecting bars that create a system of perpendicular I-beams between the upper and lower layers of concrete.

Applying Ubot flat slabs in construction projects helps reduce slab weight and the amount of concrete and steel used. It also enables spans of up to 20m, creating open and spacious areas and enhancing the aesthetics of residential and urban construction projects.

Since 2012, LPC has received technology transfer from Daliform Group (Italy) and has continued to research, develop, and refine the solution, increasing its applicability in construction projects in Vietnam. Today, the Ubot flat slab solution has been implemented in hundreds of large- and small-scale projects domestically and internationally. After nearly 10 years of research and development, UBOT Beton is one of the leading large-span flat slab solutions in Vietnam.

6 New Material and Technology Solutions

In addition to the Ubot flat slab solution, at Vietbuild International Exhibition 2020, LPC also introduced 6 groups of new construction materials, contributing solutions to environmental protection challenges and aiming toward the development of smart cities in the future.

GRC (Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete)

Also known as Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete, it is produced by molding and machine spraying from a mixture of fine aggregates: cement, clean sand, clean water, alkali-resistant glass fibers, and plasticizing admixtures. This gives GRC high durability, diverse forms, attractive designs, and natural colors. Therefore, GRC is commonly used in projects requiring high aesthetic standards, such as GRC façades, GRC decorative moldings, GRC column capitals, and garden and artistic decorative products.

BTLG – Precast Reinforced Concrete Frame (Charpente Béton)

This is a precast reinforced concrete structural frame for industrial facilities, using high- and ultra-high-strength concrete (from 60 MPa and above) combined with a prestressing system to achieve large spans. The foundations, columns, and beams are all made of concrete and assembled on site, helping reduce construction time.

UHPC (Ultra-high Performance Concrete – High-performance Concrete or Ultra-high-strength Concrete)

It is a new-generation concrete with many outstanding advantages over traditional concrete in terms of strength and durability. UHPC is a cement-based composite concrete material with optimized aggregate particle composition and a water-to-cement ratio of less than 0.25, resulting in reduced porosity and a denser microstructure distribution. At the same time, it uses a dispersed fiber content to increase ductility under tensile and flexural loading.

LPC E.Bubble – RAINWATER COLLECTION SYSTEM

This is a rainwater recovery solution based on the principle of hollow plastic balls. It helps create large hollow structures underground in flower gardens and sidewalk areas. Therefore, this solution simplifies procedures and construction methods while reducing labor and installation costs. With the current pace of urbanization and concrete surfaces, LPC E.Bubble is a technological solution that effectively controls rainwater flow, prevents localized flooding, and increases the amount of water infiltrating the ground.

LPC Dome – RAISED FLOOR

This is a solution for constructing technical floors, natural ventilation systems, and air cushions for ground floors, house floors, and roofs in new construction or renovation projects in residential and industrial construction. The product consists of plastic formwork modules connected in a predetermined direction, allowing a solid platform to be quickly formed on which concrete can be poured, creating a ventilated technical floor in a simple and economical manner.

LPC Smart – HIGH-STRENGTH PRECAST CONCRETE MODULAR HOUSES

This is not a new construction solution. However, the improved new approach significantly reduces construction time and saves on formwork and labor costs, delivering economic and schedule benefits for investors. This solution is highly effective for projects with small spans, infill houses, adjoining houses, villas, etc., ensuring safety, speed, efficiency, ease of application, and flexibility. It is one of the environmentally friendly green solutions.
