Ubot flat slab – an effective heat insulation solution

Ubot hollow plastic boxes are a large-span flat slab solution for which LPC received technology transfer from Daliform Group in Italy in 2012. It was then developed and applied to the Vietnamese construction market with many outstanding features and is an environmentally friendly material.

Ubot boxes are thermal insulation products made from polypropylene (PP) plastic resin using a modern production line and manufactured directly in Vietnam.

The Ubot flat slab structure creates a hollow slab that is thicker than a conventional slab. The hollow sections act as air cushions, improving sound insulation between floors. This is especially beneficial for roof floors, which are most exposed to weather conditions, as the voids created by Ubot boxes within the slab help improve thermal insulation effectively.

Ubot flat slab heat insulation solutions create a higher-quality, cooler, and more comfortable space, helping save significantly on electricity costs while limiting heat accumulation and preventing concrete expansion that can cause cracking in buildings.

Ubot flat slabs also provide investors with faster returns by reducing building energy consumption while creating a healthy living environment and protecting buildings from harmful external factors such as sunlight, wind, hot and cold temperatures, and humidity, thereby increasing the lifespan and value of the building.
