The happiness of spring is having each other; Lam Pham Construction Co., Ltd. (LPC) organized a spring trip for all employees. The spring trip was a great opportunity for everyone to understand each other and strengthen their bonds, starting the working year with enthusiasm….
With the aim of rekindling enthusiasm among employees, LPC’s Management Board organized a spring trip last weekend (March 2–3, 2019). The destination chosen by the LPC extended family was two famous pagodas: Tam Chuc Pagoda (Kim Bang, Ha Nam) and Huong Pagoda. Along the pilgrimage route, everyone shared joyful and warm moments together.
Our group departed from Hanoi at 3:15 p.m. on March 2, 2019, and the first destination was Asia’s largest pagoda – Tam Chuc Pagoda. Tam Chuc Tourist Area (Ba Sao, Ha Nam) is known as ‘Ha Long Bay on land’, a place adorned with immense beauty like a dream, where visitors can experience an extraordinary sense of purity, tranquility, and peace. This tourist complex is truly an attractive spiritual destination, as it offers a perfect combination of the ancient beauty of a thousand-year-old pagoda and the majestic scenery of vast mountains and waters. The group left Tam Chuc with some regret at having to leave this heavenly landscape, and we will certainly return when the pagoda is fully completed…
We had a truly warm and happy evening in the garden of one of the LPC members, gathering around the fire in the chilly early-spring weather, sharing our plans and striving together throughout 2019.
After a joyful evening together, the next morning, the whole group got up very early to head to the next destination – Huong Pagoda.Huong Pagoda, whose full name is Huong Son Pagoda, is a complex of historical and scenic sites located in Huong Son Commune, My Duc District, Hanoi. Famous as a sacred pagoda, Huong Pagoda is considered a spiritual tourism destination in Hanoi chosen by many people, especially at the beginning of the Lunar New Year. The scenery here is remarkably poetic, leaving many visitors in admiration and delight. It is no wonder that Huong Pagoda has long been considered an ideal destination for Buddhists during the first months of the year, especially during the festival season. Our group rented 5 boats to travel along Yen Stream, and everyone was amazed by the poetic beauty of the scenery on both sides of the stream. Humming along with the boatmen’s folk songs, the scenery seemed like a dream stirring in the midst of reality:
“Today I go to Huong Pagoda
Flowers and grass are still veiled in mist
With my mother and teacher, I arrange my hair and look into the mirror
A small scarf, a high ponytail
I wear a peach-colored bodice
Silk trousers, a new traditional tunic
In my hand, I carry a quai thao hat
On my feet, I wear high wooden clogs…”
The spring trip came to an end, leaving us with a lingering longing for Huong Pagoda… The group got on the bus back to Hanoi at 5 p.m., yet everyone felt wistful, as if no one wanted to leave…
The pilgrimage ended with wishes for good luck at the beginning of the year, hopes for peace and happiness, along with promises to work hard throughout the year and wishes for peace…. The spring trip was truly meaningful. The members of LPC became more connected through stories and heartfelt conversations during the spring journey, and we were truly filled with energy to enter the working year and achieve the highest efficiency!!!
