LPC Discusses Ubot Lightweight Slab Solutions with Partners

The LPC event discussing Ubot lightweight slab solutions with partners was organized by the Institute of Construction Investment Management (IICM) under the theme “For Construction Value”.

On the morning of October 6, 2016, Lam Pham Construction Co., Ltd. (LPC) was honored to be one of the special guests attending the event “Launch Ceremony and Exchange between the Institute of Construction Investment Management and its Partners”, discussing Ubot lightweight slab solutions with nearly 170 guests at the library hall of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.

Nearly 170 guests attended the event, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Anh – Chairman of the Institute Council, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Tan – former institute leader, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Quan – Director of the Institute, and many lecturers from the leadership board of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, as well as investors, major construction consulting enterprises, project management boards from many provinces and cities, and Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises.

This was not only an occasion to launch the Institute of Construction Investment Management but also an opportunity for LPC and its partner companies to participate in discussions, exchange ideas, learn from one another, and update themselves on new trends and construction solutions, including Ubot lightweight slab solutions.

Alongside information about the functions and new direction of the Institute of Construction Investment Management (IICM), Mr. Lam Minh Duc – Director of Lam Pham Construction Co., Ltd. (LPC), provided an overview of LPC and a deeper insight into the Ubot technology solution – a new-generation construction technology following the trend of “green construction”.

The presentation highlighted the outstanding advantages of the Ubot technology solution, such as its monolithic lightweight slab structure, ability to achieve large spans, potential to reduce the height of the beam-and-slab system compared with conventional slabs, and a consistently flat slab surface with high aesthetic value.

With these advantages, the Ubot lightweight slab solution delivers significant economic benefits by saving overall construction costs through reduced material costs due to lower concrete consumption, reduced labor costs due to simple and fast construction, reduced costs for installing gypsum ceilings as the slab surface remains flat, and reduced construction costs due to convenient and economical transportation and storage, among other benefits.

In addition, Mr. Lam Minh Duc emphasized the applications of Ubot, construction methods, and introduced several major Ubot projects by LPC in Vietnam. The useful information about Ubot received great interest from the guests and helped address their questions and concerns regarding the features and technical characteristics of the Ubot lightweight slab solution.

The event helped partners and investors gain a clearer understanding of the Ubot lightweight slab solution and also created opportunities for LPC's Ubot lightweight slab solution to become more widely known and applied in the construction industry.

With the goal of becoming a technology bridge that continuously brings modern and environmentally friendly technology solutions, through this event LPC aims to expand cooperation with various partners in the construction market, particularly to expand cooperation with IICM in various areas such as:

• Training in construction personnel operations.
• Establishing norms for new solution and technology products.
• Cooperation in investment consulting projects, design consultancy, and construction regarding project review and construction consulting.

Not stopping there, LPC hopes that in the future there will be even broader cooperation with the Institute of Construction Investment Management across many projects and fields, and that LPC will become one of the close partners accompanying IICM on its continued development journey.
