The VIETBUILD Da Nang 2018 International Exhibition opened on the morning of April 21 at the Da Nang Exhibition and Fair Center, jointly organized by the Da Nang People's Committee and the Ministry of Construction.
Following the first Vietbuild Hanoi exhibition of 2018, which took place at the end of March, Da Nang was the next locality to host the Vietbuild event. Held at the Da Nang Exhibition and Fair Center from April 21–25, 2018, Vietbuild Da Nang attracted many businesses from across the country.

Speaking at the Exhibition, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh said that the VIETBUILD Da Nang 2018 Exhibition was an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to expand commercial cooperation, partnerships, investment and production, and the transfer of advanced technologies and techniques, thereby promoting the development of construction projects and real estate projects toward sustainable development in the country's industrialization and modernization process.
According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh, the VIETBUILD Da Nang 2018 International Exhibition attracted nearly 1,000 booths from more than 300 exhibitors, including 180 domestic enterprises, 72 joint-venture enterprises, and 54 foreign enterprises and groups from 12 countries and regions, including Germany, the United States, Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, China, Vietnam, and others.
In addition, VIETBUILD has become a major brand and a common meeting point for domestic and international businesses in the construction industry. It is a useful and practical platform that brings significant benefits to domestic and international businesses in promoting trade and cooperation in construction investment.
Lam Pham Construction Co., Ltd. participated in the Vietbuild Da Nang International Exhibition, bringing new solutions and providing customers, investors, and contractors with new construction solutions – the green solution of Ubot flat slabs.
The use of Ubot in slab structures is suitable for projects requiring lightweight floor structures and material savings. Ubot is an ideal solution for creating slabs with large spans and high load-bearing capacity, particularly suitable for structures requiring open spaces, such as shopping centers, industrial facilities, as well as public buildings and residential buildings.
Among foundation types, the raft foundation is one of the most widely used. Raft foundations are used on weak soil. When the loads are large or the soil is weaker, the raft foundation needs to be designed with a greater thickness, which increases the amount of concrete and consequently increases construction costs.
By using U-bot, the foundation structure becomes lighter while providing the same load-bearing capacity as a conventional raft foundation at a lower cost. After the concrete is poured, U-Bot forms the raft foundation into two slab layers, upper and lower, connected by a perpendicular beam system.
Ubot flat slabs are currently considered a green solution in the construction industry, offering outstanding advantages in reducing construction costs and optimizing building structures.

These exhibitors also introduced new products with improved designs, features, and quality to meet the growing demand for construction and interior and exterior decoration.
In addition, Lam Pham Construction Co., Ltd. also organized specialized seminars on practical and diverse topics. The seminar “Startup Story and UBOT Flat Slab Green Solution” at two major universities, Duy Tan University and the University of Science and Technology, The University of Danang, aimed to encourage students, researchers, and lecturers to conduct research and continuously develop new, high-tech products to meet the needs of the construction market and urban housing.
At the Seminar, the Director of Lam Pham Construction Co., Ltd. also presented scholarships to students facing difficult circumstances who achieved excellent academic results.
