Architectural design consultancy for Proscience Hotel “For Science”

Director Lam Minh Duc, representing LPC, together with the architectural design team, was also present at the groundbreaking ceremony for Proscience Hotel in Quy Nhon.

On the morning of August 6, at Science Boulevard (Area 2, Ghenh Rang Ward, Quy Nhon City, Dinh Dinh Province), the groundbreaking ceremony for the “For Science” Hotel – Proscience Hotel – was held with the participation of many leading scientists from around the world.

This was one of the activities in the series of important events of the 14th “Meet Vietnam” program and marked the 25th anniversary of the “Meet Vietnam” scientific association, which was taking place in Binh Dinh Province.

According to Professor Tran Thanh Van, Chairman of the Meet Vietnam Association, in order for the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) to have better conditions to serve scientists, the Association had spent years seeking investors for a hotel. The project was invested in by Vi Khoa Hoc Co., Ltd., represented by businessman Tieu Nhu Phuong (a Vietnamese living in Germany).

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Ho Quoc Dung expressed his deep gratitude to Professor Tran Thanh Van and businessman Tieu Nhu Phuong for their dedication and efforts to ensure that the Proscience Hotel “For Science” project was implemented according to plan.

Mr. Dung also expressed his sincere thanks to architect Milou and his colleagues for dedicating their time and efforts to designing a major project of particular importance to the development of science and education in Binh Dinh Province.

At the same time, Mr. Dung also expressed his thanks to Lam Pham Construction Co., Ltd. (LPC) for participating in the architectural design consultancy to give Proscience Hotel “For Science” its own distinctive character while ensuring its architectural suitability.

“With the name “For Science”, Proscience Hotel carries the mission of supporting and joining hands with ICISE to provide the best possible conditions for scientists coming to Quy Nhon.

Together with ICISE and the Science Complex, Proscience Hotel “For Science” is a continuation of the architectural development, creating a harmonious architectural complex with nature and serving as a highlight for the science and education urban area in Quy Nhon. The province is committed to directing relevant departments and agencies to find the best and most favorable mechanisms to support and facilitate investors,” Mr. Dung affirmed.

In particular, at the groundbreaking ceremony, Professor Jerome Friendman, the 1990 Nobel Prize winner in Physics (MIT, USA), expressed his support for the Party, State, and local authorities for their attention to the development of science. The professor said that Vietnamese young people are highly talented and that the growth of scientific activities in Vietnam also contributes to the advancement of science worldwide.

“We cannot fully express the importance of interaction and support among scientists when they come here to work. Vietnam has great potential in science and technology. Vietnamese students have won many gold medals in international competitions.

This is a great achievement considering the population and level of development you currently have. These students need to be nurtured to maintain their passion for science and develop in the best possible scientific environment,” the Nobel laureate shared.
